Authenticity Policy

  1. Only authentic products (1 product per listing) are allowed to be posted on HypeKloud.
  2. All potential listings are inspected by our Site Admins and authenticated via the Checkcheck® app prior to approval for posting on the site. See guidelines on how to post a product on HypeKloud.
  3. Additionally, buyers or sellers may ask other members of the community to do a quick legit check on a posted product for added assurance or to vouch for seller legitimacy (in addition to seller reviews and verification). See guidelines on how to join the HypeKloud community page.
  4. If found to be counterfeit, any listing may be deleted at any time by the Site Admin, without prior notice to the owner/member.
  5. Members (accounts) found (proven) to have listed counterfeit products on the site unknowingly/accidentally, will be suspended for 1 month on the first offense and permanently deactivated/banned from the site after the second offense. Those found (proven) to have deliberately listed counterfeit products or to have attempted to scam other members will be permanently deactivated/banned from the site immediately.
  6. Prior to shipping the product, we recommend sellers to take a photo or video clearly showing it being handed over to the shipping provider / courier (for documentation purposes) or if possible to conduct a video call with the buyer. Pair/s must be clearly visible and unmistakable.

Refund and Return Policy

  1. HypeKloud holds the buyer’s payment for a duration of 2 days (48hrs) upon completion of every transaction. The buyer may use the said 2-day-period to further inspect the product. A refund or return request may then be made by the buyer during the said period, if the condition matches any of the below-listed acceptable reasons. See guidelines on how to request for a refund or return on your purchase.
  2. If in case the seller rejects the refund or return request, a dispute may still be opened with the Site Admin for final ruling. See guidelines on how to open a dispute request with the Site Admin.
  3. Upon the seller’s approval of the buyer’s request, the seller can then open a refund or return request with the Site Admin. See guidelines on how to open a Refund or Return request with the Site Admin.
  4. Authentic products must be shipped back to the seller (at the seller’s expense) in the condition it arrived, together with all the accompanying accessories and packaging.
  5. Products proven to be counterfeit need not be returned to the seller, unless it was done so unknowingly/accidentally. Shipping will be shouldered by the seller.
  6. Acceptable reasons for return or refund:
    1. Product is not authentic
    2. Product is not as described (size, condition, colorway, year of release, etc.)
    3. Product is damaged or defective
    4. Product inclusions (accessories, packaging) are incomplete or not included
    5. Did not receive product (refund)
    6. Others (open a dispute with the Site Admin for ruling)

Buyer and Seller Protection

  1. Buyers
    1. HypeKloud will only release payments to the sellers after 2 days upon the buyer’s receipt of the product (completion of transaction).
    2. The buyer may use the said 2-day-period to inspect and if necessary have the product authenticated.
    3. A refund or return request may be made by the buyer during the said period, if he/she encounters any of the aforementioned acceptable reasons. See the HypeKloud refund and return policy for more details.
  2. Sellers
    1. Sellers will only be prompted to ship orders once payments have already been received/cleared by HypeKloud.
    2. In case a refund or return request is made by the buyer, the seller can either approve or reject the request based on the HypeKloud refund and return policy.

Seller Verification Policy

  1. Being a verified seller provides assurance to your potential buyers that they are dealing with a legitimate seller.
  2. In addition to email verification during the sign-up process, all HypeKloud sellers must go through the verification process. Only verified sellers can post products on the site.
  3. All sellers MUST complete ‘ID Verification’ and optionally ‘Phone Verification’, ‘Address Verification’, and ‘Social Profile Verification’ (Facebook). To complete the seller verification process, go to your Dashboard > Settings > Verification.
  4. Once completed, verification badges will appear on your store sidebar for buyers to see.

Accepted Brands

  1. In addition to Admin inspections, HypeKloud currently relies on the Checkcheck® app for authentication. As such, we currently only allow brands that are accepted by the app.
  2. The following brands are currently accepted for posting on HypeKloud: Jordan, Nike, Yeezy, Adidas and collaborations with the above mentioned brands.
  3. Product minimum value is set at PhP 5,000.
  4. We will strive to accept more brands for posting and let our customers know as they are accepted by the app and as we further improve on our in-house authentication process.

Product Expiration

  1. All products posted on HypeKloud have an expiration date of 1 month from the time the product is published. This is to ensure that only available / up to date products are posted on the site.
  2. Once a product expires, it will be downgraded to ‘draft’ status. If the product is still available or up to date, the seller can either resubmit the product as is or edit / update product information and resubmit for posting.
  3. Once the Site Admin has approved the product, it will again be actively posted on the site.

Account Creation

  1. Buyers
    1. Buyers are not required to create an account on HypeKloud prior to check-out. Anyone can create a buyer account at any time on the My Account Page, via the Login / Register link, or during check-out. See guidelines on how to register as a buyer on HypeKloud.
  2. Sellers
    1. Interested sellers are required to create an account with HypeKloud and have their request approved by the Site Admin, in order to be eligible for selling. Anyone can create a seller account at any time on the My Account Page or via the Login / Register link. See guidelines on how to register as a seller on HypeKloud.

Product Photo Policy

  1. As your photos are what we will be using for authentication and approval for posting on the site, we require that you take clear and close-up pictures (with the same background) of the sneakers. Check here for sample photos.
    1. Sides (lateral/medial)
    2. Inside Label (Recently released pairs bnew w/ receipt exempted)
    3. Insole Reverse Side (Recently released pairs bnew w/ receipt exempted)
    4. Insole Stitching (Recently released pairs bnew w/ receipt exempted)

    10. Accessories and other important details (receipt, extra laces, special tags/features, shoe trees, damage, defects).
  2. We also require that you include a watermark or personal identification (ID, personal logo or branding, etc.) on each photo to prevent photo grabbing.

Buyer and Seller Fees

  1. To help you maximize your profits, HypeKloud currently charges no admin fees for buying or selling on the site. However, 3rd-party payment gateways (Paypal, Credit or Debit card via Paypal) normally charge specific fees associated with their terms of service/use.

Payments Methods

  1. Buyers
    1. HypeKloud provides several payment methods, Paypal, Credit or Debit card via Paypal, online bank transfer to our BDO account or direct transfer via GCash to make your shopping experience as secure and convenient as possible.
  2. Sellers
    1. In order to ensure secure, convenient and on-schedule seller payouts, all seller payouts on HypeKloud will be done via Paypal, direct bank transfer or GCash. HypeKloud currently charges no admin fees for selling on the site, however Paypal may charge a minimal fee associated with their terms of service/use. You may check directly on their websites for up to date terms of service/use and associated fees.
    2. In order to request for a withdrawal, a seller’s current balance must meet the set minimum withdrawal amount (PhP 5,000) and withdrawal threshold (2 days upon completion of transaction).
    3. Withdrawal requests will be approved and respective payments transferred within 3 business days upon request.

Shipping Policy

  1. Shipping options on Hypekloud are set by each individual seller. In general, allowed shipping methods include, free shipping and flat fees set for different Shipping Zones. See guidelines on how to update seller shipping settings.
  2. Purchased products must be shipped by the seller within 2 business days upon purchase (payment clearance), the seller must then update the order tracking information. See guidelines on how to add tracking details to an existing order.
  3. If the seller is unable to ship the product within 2 business days, a penalty of PhP 150 will be charged for every business day thereafter.
  4. If the seller is still unable to ship the product within 5 business days, the transaction will be cancelled and the seller will be suspended for 1 month on the first offense and permanently deactivated/banned from the site after the second offense for flaking. The buyer will be fully refunded.

Community Rules and Regulations

  1. Posting on the Community Page
    1. Creating a buyer or seller account on HypeKloud automatically allows you to post or comment on the community page. See guidelines on how to join the HypeKloud community.
  2. Community Rules and Regulations
    1. No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately.
    2. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
    3. Legit Checks and Vouching. Only pairs posted on Hypekloud (links to actual post) may be posted for legit checks on the forums; members may only vouch for other members on the site.
    4. Respect other users. No flaming or abusing fellow forum members. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings are issued by moderators.
    5. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for account deactivation / membership cancellation.
    6. Adult content. No profanity or pornography is allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted.
    7. Bandwidth. All images and signatures must be 500 x 500 pixels or smaller. Posts containing over-sized images and signatures will be removed. Attach links to actual posts instead of reposting images for legit checks.
    8. Illegal content. No reposting of copyrighted materials or other illegal content is allowed. Any posts containing illegal content or copyrighted materials will be deleted.
